Unfortunately we had a technical issue with video submissions prior to May 29th 2013. We need everyone who is participating in this video contest to resubmit their videos so that they can enter the drawing. Prior videos were not uploaded through our site due to a size limitation that we overlooked. Contestents may now upload a video up to 5GB in size.
We appreciate all the hard work, and look forward to reviewing all the video submissions! Thank you!
Who Can Enter:
Anyone! Students can submit their own video or teachers can collaborate with the film department and submit the video as a class.
The contest is to produce a short video and then submit it to Keyboarding Online. The video's content must be related to keyboarding. Some ideas would be why keyboarding is important, how to properly keyboard, why you like KeyboardingOnline.com, how you keep students motivated to learn, or anything else you can come up with related to keyboarding. It can be educational, funny, action-packed, or anything you want to do.
How To Apply:
Upon winner selection, release forms will be issued to the winning contestants and all persons appearing in the video must complete and sign the release form. All persons under the age of 18 will also require the signature of a parent or legal guardian.
Videos must include content related to keyboarding, and may not include anything offensive, vulgar, or dangerous. Videos should be kept at a 'G' rating. Any videos not including keyboarding content or that we, Ellsworth Publishing Company (hereinafter referred to as EPCO), do not approve of will be automatically removed from the contest.
EPCO reserves the right to remove videos and contestants from the contest for any reason without forewarning or contacting the contestants.
Contestants who submit videos acknowledge that they are over 18 years of age and that they granted permission to be filmed. Contestants also grant exclusive permission to EPCO to show the submission publicly on their website (KeyboardingOnline.com and EllsworthPublishing.com), as well as edit or remove the video without getting contestants' permission.
Upon winner selection, release forms will be issued to the winning contestants. All persons appearing in the video must complete and sign the release form. All persons under the age of 18 will also require the signature of a parent or legal guardian. Failure to complete the release forms and send them back will indicate a prize declination. Only one prize will be awarded per student and one prize per school.
In the case of contestants declining the prize, a new winner will be chosen from the remaining contestants until all prizes have been awarded.
Contestants must follow and adhere to all copyright rules and laws. EPCO does permit use of their own intellectual property, images, and videos in the contest submission videos. For more information, please contact EPCO
